Indeed, almost a third of the Toffees’ Premier League wins in London have come against the Hammers (32.5% - 13/40).

Everton have lost their last three Premier League away games against London sides by an aggregate score of 12-1. They last lost four in a row in the capital between January and September 2018.

Having lost their first three Premier League home games this season, West Ham have now won their last two at the London Stadium. They last won three in a row in May/August 2023, while they last did so in the same campaign in October 2022.

West Ham have conceded at least once in each of their last 14 Premier League home games, the longest ongoing run of any side, and the Hammers’ longest ever in the competition. They last failed to keep a clean sheet in more consecutive top-flight home games between December 1964 and October 1965 (16).

Everton lost their first four Premier League games this season, conceding 13 goals in the process. However, they’ve lost just one of their subsequent six (W2 D3), with their four goals conceded the fewest of any side in that time.

West Ham have conceded 15 goals in the opening 15 minutes of Premier League games so far in 2024, the most such goals any side have conceded in a single calendar year in the competition. Five of those have come so far this season, a joint-league high, along with Ipswich.

All three of Dominic Calvert-Lewin’s Premier League goals against West Ham have come at the London Stadium, with the last two coming in 1-0 wins for Everton. Only against Newcastle (5) has he scored more away goals in the competition than he has at West Ham.

Jarrod Bowen has scored in his last two Premier League home games for West Ham, last scoring in three in a row at the London Stadium in February 2022. Bowen has also had a hand in five goals in his last six league games against Everton (3 goals, 2 assists).

No player has played more passes into the box (including crosses) in the Premier League this season than Everton’s Dwight McNeil this season (86), while only Cole Palmer and Bukayo Saka (28) have created more chances than McNeil (27).

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Wolves vs Southampton Matchday Stats Preview

Wolves vs Southampton Matchday Stats Preview

Wolves have won each of their last five Premier League games against Southampton, their longest winning run against any opponent in the competition.

Having kept a clean sheet in their first ever Premier League meeting with Wolves in September 2003 (2-0), Southampton have now conceded in each of their last 11 against them in the competition.

The away side has won just two of the last 27 Premier League meetings between sides starting the day in the bottom two places in the league table (D8 L17), though one of those was the most recent such match between Sheffield United (20th) and Burnley (19th) in April (4-1 to Burnley).

Wolves remain winless in their 10 Premier League games so far this season (D3 L7) – only in 1983-84 have they ever had a longer run without a win from the start of a league campaign (14), going on to finish bottom of the top-flight that season.

Southampton’s 1-0 victory over Everton last time out ended a run of 22 Premier League games without a win, and a run of 21 without a clean sheet in the competition. Indeed, both of the Seagulls’ defeats this term have come after they’ve taken the lead (2-4 v Chelsea, 1-2 v Liverpool).

Brighton are unbeaten in their five Premier League home games so far this season (W2 D3) – only in 1982-83 have they had a longer run without a home defeat from the start of a top-flight campaign (7).

Manchester City’s 32-game unbeaten run in the Premier League came to an end at Bournemouth last time out. He’s scored in his last two games, and aged 37 years and 296 days on the day of this game would be the oldest player to score in three consecutive Premier League appearances with a goal here.

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Liverpool vs Brighton Matchday Stats Preview

Liverpool vs Brighton Matchday Stats Preview

After winning each of their first six Premier League games against Brighton, Liverpool have now won just two of their last eight (D4 L2). They did, however, win this exact fixture 2-1 last season.

Brighton have taken five points from their last four away league games against Liverpool (W1 D2 L1), more than they managed in their first 11 visits to Anfield (W1 D1 L9).

Brighton have opened the scoring in each of their last four Premier League meetings with Liverpool but have only gone on to win one of these games (D2 L1).

Only Arsenal (41 minutes, 48 seconds) have been behind for less time in Premier League games this season than Liverpool (75m 28s). When behind, the Reds have faced just two shots and conceded an xG of just 0.3 per 90 – both league low figures when in said game state.

Brighton have scored 16 goals from an xG of 13.2 in the Premier League this season, netting roughly three goals more than expected. Only Leicester (13 goals, 9.1 xG) and Wolves (12 goals, 8.9 xG) have overperformed more.

Liverpool have won seven of their nine Premier League games under Arne Slot so far (D1 L1). Victory here would see him pick up the most victories by a Liverpool manager in their first 10 top-flight games in charge of the club.

Brighton have had more different goalscorers than any other side in the Premier League this season (9, excluding own goals). Danny Welbeck has scored six of these, while his next strike will see him become the Seagulls’ joint-highest goalscorer in the competition (30, level with Pascal Groß).

Liverpool’s Mohamed Salah has been involved in 15 goals in 14 Premier League appearances against Brighton, scoring nine and assisting six. Only against Manchester United (18) has he had a hand in more goals in the competition.

With six goals and five assists, Mohamed Salah has been involved in 65% of Liverpool’s Premier League goals this season (11/17), the highest ratio of any player in the competition so far this term.

Brighton’s Danny Welbeck is looking to score in four consecutive Premier League games for the first time in his career. His six goals overall is already his joint-best return in a single campaign for the Seagulls, only netting more for any side with Manchester United in 2011-12 (9) and 2013-14 (9).

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United Matchday Stats Preview

Nottingham Forest vs West Ham United Matchday Stats Preview

Nottingham Forest have won both of their Premier League home games against West Ham since their return to the division in 2022. They’ve not won consecutive away league games against Saints since January 1992.

Southampton are winless in their last 22 Premier League matches (D5 L17). The only sides to have longer winless runs in Premier League history are Derby County (32 in 2007-08) and Sunderland (26 between 2002 and 2005).

Everton have gone five Premier League games unbeaten (W2 D3), after losing the five games beforehand. The Toffees last had a longer unbeaten run between August and October 2022 under Frank Lampard (6).

Southampton have picked up one point in their opening nine Premier League games this season (D1 L8). The fewest points won in the first 10 games of a Premier League season is one, by Sheffield United in both 2020-21 and 2023-24.

18% of Everton’s passes in the Premier League this season have been long passes, the highest percentage of any side. They last won consecutive league meetings with the Red Devils in March 2011 (a run of three).

Manchester United vs Chelsea is the most drawn fixture in Premier League history, with 26 of the previous 64 meetings between the sides finishing level.

Manchester United have picked up just 11 points after nine Premier League matches this season (W3 D2 L4), their second-fewest after nine games ahead only of 2019-20 (10). The only two times they have lost four of their first nine Premier League games have been in each of the last two campaigns under Erik ten Hag.

Chelsea have named the youngest average starting XI in the Premier League this season (23 years, 206 days). The only Chelsea players to score in three consecutive Premier League games against the Red Devils are Jimmy Floyd Hasselbaink (2000-2001) and Juan Mata (2012-2013).

Erik ten Hag lost 32% of his Premier League games in charge of Man Utd (27/85), the joint highest percentage along with David Moyes (11/34). Seven of his 27 defeats came via 90th minute winners, the highest percentage (26%) of any manager to lose 20+ games in Premier League history.

Cole Palmer has been directly involved in 33 Premier League goals for Chelsea in 2024 (21 goals, 12 assists). Bees defender Ethan Pinnock has scored a header in the 45th minute in each of his last two appearances, with Harry Kane the last player to score a header in three Premier League games in a row in August 2022.

Ipswich Town have applied the second-most pressures to opponents in the Premier League this season (1,736) with midfielder Omari Hutchinson top among all players for pressures (316) while Liam Delap ranks second for pressures among strikers (263) behind only Dominic Solanke (282).

Brentford’s Mikkel Damsgaard has assisted three goals in his last two Premier League appearances, more than he had in his first 55 games in the competition (two). He has assisted via a corner in his last two games, with only Ashley Williams for Everton in April 2017 assisting a goal from a corner situation in three consecutive appearances in Premier League history.

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Brighton vs Wolves Matchday Stats Preview

Brighton vs Wolves Matchday Stats Preview

Having won just one of their first seven Premier League meetings with Wolves (D4 L2), Brighton have now won four of their last five against them (D1).

Wolves have won just three of their 20 away league games against Brighton (D8 L9), with all three victories coming by a 1-0 scoreline (September 2004, January 2016 and December 2021).

Brighton are looking to win three successive Premier League games for the first time since September 2023, while the Seagulls are also looking to win two in a row without conceding in the competition for the first time since April/May 2023 – one of which was against Wolves.

Wolves have picked up just one point in their last 11 Premier League games, losing more games (10) and conceding more goals (33) than any other side in that time.

In their first four Premier League seasons, Brighton’s average point tally after eight matches was 7.8. Since 2021-22, they are averaging exactly 15 points at this stage, winning 15 this season (W4 D3 L1).

Wolves have lost their last five Premier League matches, despite finding the net in each match. The last team to lose six top-flight games in a row while scoring in every game were Man City in November/December 1960.

Brighton and Hove Albion have won just 12 of their 45 Premier League matches against teams starting the day in the relegation zone (27%). His yellow card against Man City was his 20th in just 53 appearances, the sixth fewest appearances for a player to receive 20 yellows in Premier League history.

Lewis Dunk could make his 250th Premier League appearance in this match for Brighton. All of his 249 games so far have been starts, with only five outfield players starting each of their first 250 games in the competition: Gary McAllister (1992-99), Des Walker (1992-2000), Gary Pallister (1992-2000), Gareth Southgate (1992-2000) and Paul Ince (1992-2001).

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Manchester City vs Southampton Matchday Stats Preview

Manchester City vs Southampton Matchday Stats Preview

Since losing three consecutive Premier League home games against Southampton between 2001 and 2004, Man City are unbeaten in their last 12 against them at the Etihad Stadium (W10 D2).

Southampton have won just one of their last 14 Premier League meetings with Manchester City (D3 L10), picking up a 1-0 home win in July 2020.

Manchester City are on their longest ever unbeaten league run, going 31 Premier League games without defeat since losing to Aston Villa last December (W25 D6). They’ve fallen behind 12 times in that run and come back to win 10 of those games (D2).

Southampton have lost seven of their eight Premier League games this season, drawing the other against Ipswich in September. It’s just the second time the Saints have ever failed to win their opening eight matches of a league campaign, after 1998-99 (first 9).

Manchester City have gained 13 points from losing positions in the Premier League this season, more than any other side. Indeed, it is the most points a team has earned from losing positions in the opening eight matches of a Premier League season ever.

Manchester City had 85 touches in Wolves’ box in their 2-1 win last Sunday, the most by a team in a Premier League game this season and most by a team in an away game on record since 2008-09. Indeed, City’s total of 404 opposition box touches is the most by a team through their opening eight games of a season Opta has on record.

No team has scored more goals from corners in the Premier League this season than Manchester City (3), while Southampton have shipped the joint most corner goals (5). In City’s last game, they won in the 90th minute via a corner, while in Southampton’s last game they lost in the 90th minute to a goal from a corner.

Russell Martin has picked up just one point in his first eight Premier League matches as Southampton manager (D1 L7) – in Premier League history, only Mick McCarthy has ever won fewer points in his first eight games (zero).

Erling Haaland has gone three Premier League games without a goal for Man City for just a second time, going four without one between December and February last season. He had just 13 touches against Wolves last time out, his fewest in a match in the top-five leagues in Europe when he has completed 90 minutes.

Among players to play 500+ minutes against newly promoted teams, only Gianluca Vialli (one every 56 minutes) has a better minutes per goal ratio than Man City’s Erling Haaland (one every 60 mins, 13 goals in 780 minutes). He is looking to become the first player to score in seven starts in a row against promoted teams since Sergio Agüero in November 2017.

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Everton vs Fulham Matchday Stats Preview

Everton vs Fulham Matchday Stats Preview

Everton were unbeaten in their first 27 home league games against Fulham between 1949 and 2018 (W23 D4), winning each of the last 22 of those. Since then, they’ve lost their last three at home to the Cottagers.

Fulham are unbeaten in their last five Premier League games against Everton (W3 D2), keeping four clean sheets in the process. All three of those wins in that run have come at Goodison Park.

Since losing their first four Premier League matches this season, Everton are unbeaten in four games (W2 D2). Only once have the Toffees gone five unbeaten under Sean Dyche, doing so in April and May this year.

Fulham have scored the first goal in each of their last five Premier League games (W2 D1 L2), although they’ve lost the last two. Only six teams have lost three in a row after scoring first, most recently Sheffield United in April and May last season.

Everton have kept six clean sheets in their last seven Premier League games in October (W4 D2 L1), including both games this season. Since the 2022-23 season, the Toffees have averaged 0.75 points per game in August and September (P20 W3 D6 L11) compared to 1.55 points per game in October (W5 D2 L4).

Since Sean Dyche’s first Premier League games in charge of Everton, only Arsenal (33) have scored more goals via set pieces (excl. pens) than the Toffees (27).

Fulham manager Marco Silva has won each of his last two away Premier League games against Everton, whom he managed 53 times between August 2018 and December 2019. In Premier League history, the only manager to win away at his former club more than twice in a row was Harry Redknapp at West Ham between 2006 and 2009 (five in a row).

Everton have made just 22 substitutions in the Premier League this season, fewer than any other side. Since the 2014-15 season, among managers to take charge of 50+ games, Sean Dyche has made the fewest subs per game of any manager (2.4).

Dwight McNeil has been involved in six goals in his last six Premier League appearances (3 goals, 3 assists) for Everton. He’s only the third Toffees player with three goals and three assists in the opening eight games of a season, after Francis Jeffers in 1999-00 and James Rodriguez in 2020-21.

Raúl Jiménez has scored or assisted in each of his last five Premier League appearances for Fulham (4 goals, 1 assist). No Cottagers player has done so in six games in a row, while only three players have scored or assisted in six in a row aged 33 or older: Gus Poyet aged 34 in 2001, Dennis Bergkamp aged 35 in 2004 and Zlatan Ibrahimovic aged 35 in 2017.

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content

Chelsea vs Newcastle United Matchday Stats Preview

Chelsea vs Newcastle United Matchday Stats Preview

Chelsea have lost just one of their 29 Premier League home games against Newcastle (W21 D7), going down 2-0 in May 2012.

Newcastle have won two of their last four Premier League games against Chelsea (D1 L1), as many as they had in their previous 13 (D1 L10).

Chelsea’s last three Premier League defeats have come against last season’s top-three sides (0-5 vs Arsenal in April, 0-2 vs Man City in August, 1-2 vs Liverpool last weekend). The Blues are unbeaten in 19 games against all other teams (W13 D6), scoring 54 goals across these matches.

After winning three of their first four Premier League games this season (D1), Newcastle have since failed to win their last four (D2 L2). The Magpies last went five matches without winning in the league in March 2023.

Chelsea have named the youngest average starting XI in the Premier League this season (23 years, 220 days), with Tosin Adarabioyo the oldest player to appear for them this season aged just 27. They are the only team in Premier League history to get eight games into a season without using anyone over the age of 27.

Since enjoying an eight-game unbeaten run in London in the Premier League between October 2022 and October 2023, Newcastle United have lost five of their last seven games in the capital (W2).

Eddie Howe has won two of his Premier League games against Chelsea in charge of Newcastle – only Alan Pardew (4) has beaten the Blues more in the competition for the Magpies. He also netted the opener in a 3-2 win over Newcastle back in March.

Newcastle’s Harvey Barnes has been involved in four goals in his last five away Premier League appearances (3 goals, 1 assist), scoring in his last two games in London against Brentford and Fulham. Meanwhile, it’s only the second time they’ve failed to win any of their first eight in a top-flight campaign, after the 1992-93 season when they were relegated.

Tottenham Hotspur have made the most runs into the opposition penalty area (449) and also made the most overlapping runs in the final third (100) in the Premier League this season. Spurs players also top those categories individually – Dominic Solanke with 93 runs into the box and Dejan Kulusevski making 17 final-third overlapping runs.

Tottenham are second only to Manchester City for shots (145), shots on target (55), touches in the opposition box (355) and successful opposition half passes (2,069) in the Premier League this season. However, Spurs rank top for passes played into the opponent penalty area (306) and expected goals (16.95).

Since scoring a hat-trick against Sheffield United in October 2023 (for Arsenal), Crystal Palace striker Eddie Nketiah has played 804 minutes in the Premier League without finding the net. Indeed, he’s currently on a run of 30 shots without scoring in the competition.

Spurs midfielder James Maddison could make his 200th Premier League appearance in this match. Maddison ranks top for passes played into the opposition penalty area this season (72), while he has five assists in his last 11 games.

Tottenham’s Son Heung-Min has been involved in 10 goals in his last 13 Premier League London derbies (7 goals, 3 assists). Son has 39 goals and assists in London derby matches (27 goals, 12 assists), the joint-fifth most of any player in Premier League history.

Visit https://www.myhackstuff.com/ for more quality content
